Little Wolf Ranch

To honor the creator & mother nature.

ABOUT US

Little Wolf Ranch is a small veteran-owned and operated horse ranch located in Claremore, Oklahoma, established in 2023 by Mariah Barham. While we specialize in taxidermy services for our fellow outdoorsmen and hunters, we are homesteaders, and wear many hats.

We sell consumable products from our small farm and consumable products from the animals we raise. All consumable products are based on a first-come, first-serve transaction, dependent on the current availability of our stock at the time.

On occasion, some of our horses may be listed for sale or adoption and our studs may become available for services. We enjoy developing horses that can perform daily ranch work but can also let loose and have some fun via competition at rodeos. Our discipline concentrations for competitions are typically team roping, team penning, and reining.

Horses listed for sale are bred/raised and/or trained by Little Wolf Ranch and all horses listed for adoption are rescued from other locations, such as kill pens, often priced more affordably and requiring an adoption form to be filled out.

OUR MISSION

At Little Wolf Ranch, we believe in honoring the creator and mother nature as our ancestors did. We believe that it is more ethical to purchase meat locally or produce/hunt your own meat, rather than purchasing at large grocery chains, often stocked via factory farms, where animals tend to live in less-than-ideal conditions. We believe in supporting the local cattle ranchers, the local dairy farms, the local produce farmers, and the local hunters due to the animal and habitat welfare they tend to uphold.

We also believe that anything that cannot be used in the creation of consumable products by animals raised for meat production or animals that are hunted should not go to waste. These non-consumable by-products, such as bones, skins, etc. can be used, whether that is with art, décor or even the creation of sacred tools for use in spiritual practices. This is why we are passionate about taxidermy and offer it as our main service.
